Hi, I'm Heidi, and that was me until about a year and a half ago.  I'd tried ALL.THE.THINGS and couldn't find anything that successfully "stuck".   I was the heaviest I'd ever been, weighing in at 262 lbs, and my weight just kept going up, no matter what I tried.

I had just received a pretty scary health diagnosis.  I promised my new best friend - a cardiologist - that I would lose weight.   It was absolutely necessary if I wanted any hope of a positive outcome.

I was scared, I felt sick, and I didn't know what to do.

So I phoned a friend.

That phone call changed my life.  I learned a whole new way of looking at food - REAL food, not shakes and supplements and meal replacement gimmicks - and have since successfully lost and maintained 60 lbs.  I still have a way to go, but I'm doing it in a slow, very sustainable way.  (To give you a bit more info, I've spent periods of time at higher caloric intake (maintenance calories) to give my body a break from the stress of dieting, and successfully maintained weight loss during those periods, with NO problems).

Flexible dieting changed my life, my relationship with food, and my family.   I decided that I wanted to help other people do that in their own lives, and so I've spent every spare moment studying for a nutrition coaching certification.

I'm now here, hoping to be the catalyst in your life, and helping you to move to a place of joy, a place of health, and a place of food/diet freedom.

Why would you trust me?  I mean, after all, I'm still not at my goal weight, and I still need my own coach!

Here's why:  I'm a busy, busy mom.   One who has to balance food and exercise habits with music lessons, homeschooling, sports practices, team meetings, a child with special needs and therapy sessions, and toddlers who still don't sleep through the night.  I have to do all of those things on a budget.

It's not easy, but it *is* doable.   I want to be the person cheering you on, the person in your corner, as you tackle these obstacles in your own life and move toward a healthier you.
